Protection function description

 

Overcharge protection : When the BMS detects that the voltage of any cell is higher than the overcharge protection value, the BMS starts to time immediately. When the time reaches the overcharge protection delay, the BMS turns off the charging MOS tube and stops charging. At this time, the battery cannot be charged.

Overcharge protection and recovery: after the overvoltage protection occurs on the BMS, the battery voltage will drop when the battery is standing or discharging. When the BMS detects that the voltage of each section is lower than the overcharge protection and recovery voltage, the BMS will output the signal and turn on the charging MOS tube. At this time, the battery can be charged.

Overdischarge protection and recovery: after the overdischarge protection occurs on the protection plate, the battery voltage keeps rising under the static or discharge state of the battery. When the protection plate detects that each section of voltage is higher than the overdischarge protection and recovery voltage, then disconnect the load or charge, the protection plate outputs the signal number, and turn on the discharge MOS tube. At this time, the battery voltage can be discharged.

Over-current protection: the battery in a quiet place or discharge state, the current is suddenly increased, when the protection board detects current reaches over-current protection value, then the board start timing, when the loop current duration after reaching over-current protection delay time, protective plate output signal shut off power MOS tube, load locking circuit work, at this time can't discharge.

Recovery of overcurrent protection: after the overcurrent protection occurs in the protection plate, the discharge MOS tube is turned off, and the current in the circuit becomes 0. At this time, the load or charge is disconnected, the protection plate outputs the signal, and the discharge MOS tube is turned on. At this time, the discharge can be carried out.
